Fanbase is an Adobe AIR app that has been recently launched by Atlantic Records. This interesting piece of app pulls out pool of related information about your favourite Artists from Atlantic Records, an auxiliary of Warner Music Groups, that fosters some really famous names such as Simple Plan, Staind, Rob Thomas, James Blunt, Buckcherry, Gnarls Barkley, Jet, Panic At The Disco, Paramore, Rush, Missy Elliot, Death Cab for Cutie and the list goes on.
The new deftly app will be a boon to all music lovers as it is not just a typical streaming audio player. The Fanbase has sophisticatedly blends various user friendly features makes it worthy to use. Along with an audio player, it allows you to expand your social network with your similar taste people through an integrated chat feature. Users can also have a continuous stream of official and non official feeds about their favourite artists in the form of videos, news and photos.
You can also choose a artist that you would like to see on your desktop through the ‘Manage’ Screen or a drop down menu. It also allows you to control your desktop usage and you can easily switched between your favourite artists to stay up with the latest happenings of all your favourite music.

Atlantic Records has collaborated with imeem (the site dedicated to music social networking that allows users to create, upload and listen to music) to make Fanbase. Thus, the imeem music player directly pulls the latest music of any artist and makes it available on the Fanbase Users’ desktop. While it has integrated YouTube and Brightcove’s videos and has embed the Meebo Chat feature.
Overall, Fanbase is an enriched multi function media app that will surely help all exhilarated music freaks who wants to chit chat with other music lovers with continuous updates about their all time favourite music icons. Its ravishing UI and minimized View makes it all more attractive and a must have app.
