If you are using Firefox 2, then it’s time you update to the newer version as Mozilla ends support for Firefox 2. Given the success Firefox 3 has seen since its launch, there is no point why one must stick to the ancient version. Users still using the old one see the following version:

Mozilla is not planning any further security & stability updates and the Phishing Protection service will no longer be available for Firefox 2 users
