Mozilla has recently announced the results for its Extend Firefox 3 contest. The categories for which the announcements were made included Best Add-ons, Best Updated Add-On and for the Best Music Add-on.
The team of judges reviewed more than a 100 entries and announced winners for the New Add-on category for which the winners were:
Pencil created by Duong Thành An: This add-on enables users to create diagrams and UI prototyping that can be used by every user. Not much appealing as I found it tot be it just turn out to be a helpful tool for those looking forward to draw a GUI prototype in a jiffy.
Tagmarks by Felipe Tassario Gomes: Add-on that lets users to quickly bookmark and add tags to each of them with the help of set of icons. This one appeals more to the regular users and I was a bit surprised as to why they put Pencil higher than this.
HandyTag by Remi Szymkowiak: The add-on provides a set of relevant keywords within the bookmark editing panel, retrieving them from various sources.
