Rackspace’s cloud hosting division Mosso announced a new partnership with Limelight Networks that would allow its customers to make use of Limelight’s content delivery network. CDN service allows faster response time when users access and use service, and works through servers placed at different access points around the world, thereby cutting down on longer response time. The service starts at 15 cents per gigabyte of storage and 22 cents per gigabyte of bandwidth, through any edge location around the world. Mosso states:
"This union brings unlimited online storage, scalable content delivery, and application acceleration services, thereby allowing businesses to more easily and affordably distribute content to millions of end users around the world."
