I thought that we had seen quite a lot of layoffs earlier and that reports of such would be very hard to find. But it appears MySpace is continuing the process, as reports state the social network laying off around 25% or so employees. I guess MySpace is bringing down its costs as its deal with Google meets its end next year. Whatever the case be, we aren’t quite sure that these layoffs are targeted at MySpace only, maybe it involves a few cuts from Fox Interactive Media. But since MySpace has more than 50% of Fox’ total workforce, it’s clear that the layoff will affect the social network more.
