If you remember that I had earlier discussed three useful Chrome extensions that made using Facebook in the browser easy. Well those were just three of them and there are loads that I will further discuss. At present I have three more which I will share with our readers, especially those who use Chrome for everything
The list follows and I hope you all like them.
Facebook Button
The extension places a small Facebook button on the right side of your address bar. Click it and it would ask you to login with your Facebook credentials. Once you are logged on you can do almost anything you do on Facebook opened in a window or a tab. So what exactly is different about it? Well you can move around across tabs and when you feel the need to check your Facebook updates, simply click the button and it will open a window where you can easily chat, set status updates or see your messages.
It also lets you perform multitude of tasks which include getting notifications and sharing any page you visit on the social network. it isn’t letting you do something really unique but I as a user would always love to have tasks being eased and online experience made more efficient. And of course you can always share the posts right from the window.
Facebook Button 2
This one is similar to the earlier one we covered at the top. I wont take any credit away from the hard work the developer must have put in to create this extension but it doesn’t seem original. The window that opens up is exactly the same as the one earlier just that there is no sharing option available for the links and posts. You can however comment and use the like button and check messages. Do try the two I have shared and let me know if there is any difference that I have overlooked between the two.
Facebook for Google Chrome
Trust me I am not driving you nuts with covering similar extensions. This third extension installs a button on the right of your Chrome browser. The extension does the same task as do the above mentioned plugins. What I like about it however is the design which is quite impressive and rids you of the traditional Facebook look.
Instead of having those huge text buttons for Wall, Info, Notifications, etc. The developer has done an impressive job to replace those with decent and appealing icons.
While each of these are similar in function, I personally like the last one the most. What about you? Do you know of any other extension for Chrome that makes using Facebook easy and fun? Do share in the comments.
