The economy is bad, but not that bad that investors wont spend a few million in funding where it’s due. MixerCast is one of those lucky widget based ad network that has raised $4.1 million in a round led by Intel Capital. MixerCast provides an easy to use platform for users to create widgets across social networking sites, something which is very productive for advertisers. The platform doesn’t require users to learn some coding, etc, they can simply use its drag and drop feature to create widgets from widgets. With this round the total funding for MixerCast is now $12.7 million.
