The Miss World competition (not to be mixed up with Donald Trump’s Miss Universe competition) has a change this year, it is going digital. The competition partners with Amuso to bring its popularity to the web. The New York-based Amuso will help do just that as it allows the MissWorld.com site to offer a social network feel, with features to message Miss World competitors, view their photos, read about their interests and vote for their favorite candidate.
This support from Amuso will help determine the winner of the People’s Choice award, and also, will help distribute content as it has partnered with portals around the world, including AOL. Amuso’s primary offer however remains platforms for online contests, for people wanting to create their own versions of some of the best contests around – asking one dollar for a participant’s photograph or video.
