Last year Microsoft confessed that the Xbox 360 could damage the discs by scratching them. Now some unsealed documents from a continuing lawsuit indicates that the company was aware of the fact as long as the console has been around. According to a report by The Seattle Post-Intelligencer, Microsoft came across the problem for the first time in October, 2005, and they did send a team of engineers to different stores across the U.S. in order to come up with the best possible solution. The team came up with three options out of which two were impractical and one was too expensive, resulting in the offer of disc exchange by the company.
