Microsoft has now released an official patch for the security vulnerability that was recently found and has already affected 2 million PCs. The vulnerability allows hackers to get their hands on the passwords and other credentials of users.
There had already been an unofficial fix, but now since you have the official version you should get your IE fixed with the official patch.
