Microsoft is planning to make Xbox Live scale during the holiday break this year. Last year the service was literally unusable for at least 2 weeks – due to extreme rush of gamers staying at home and doing nothing but playing games. According to Aaron Greenberg, Product Manager of Xbox 360, Microsoft is well prepared for the type of growth that they expect this holiday, but even if something goes wrong – there would be more staffers with hands on deck to fix things if anything happens.
