Well today at the PDC, Microsoft released the tools for the development on the Azure platform of which earlier mentioned. Microsoft is really serious about this platform, as it is betting its business policy and strategy on it.
And as to leverage the developers to quickly adopt and start developing on the azure platform, Microsoft has released two different Tools for developers of visual Studio 2008.
These being, Windows Live Tools, Incorporating the following changes
Overview
This CTP is an update to July 2008 CTP Release. In this CTP, Windows Live Tools will be compatible with Windows Azure and upgraded to Silverlight 2.0. This package includes following:

Along Side MS also released, Azure Tools for Visual Studio 2008
Windows Azure Tools for Microsoft Visual Studio extend Visual Studio to enable the creation, building, debugging, running and packaging of scalable services on Windows Azure.
