It’s All about platforms this PDC, and continuing the announcements, Microsoft has announced that it’s LIVEMESH platform is going into Beta later this week, along with support for Mac and Windows Mobile 6 clients. Other changes coming later this week (from the Live Mesh blog).
Many noticeable changes are
- Extending the Live Mesh roles
- Drag & Drop functionality in the Live Mesh Desktop
- Ability to sync p2p only will be available from local devices
We can see Microsoft is now betting big in it’s SAAS(Software as a Service) strategy and to further unify the diverse range of products MS LiveMesh is going to be included as part of Windows Live.
