N-Trig has received a healthy support from Microsoft (in part) for its $24 million funding in what appears to be Microsoft’s attempt to create multi-touch notebooks. The funding was also backed by Aurum Ventures, Challenger Ltd, Evergreen Venture Partner and Canaan Partners. N-Trig plans to use this revenue to further develop its technology and create state of the art systems for the market. Ian LeGrow, group program manager for Windows Client stated:

With the introduction of multi-touch in Windows 7, integrated with N-trig’s DuoSense technology, our customers will have a new and natural way to interact with their PCs. By simulating the way people write and touch naturally, N-trig is helping to make it easier to navigate your PC.
