I don’t want to draw this analogy but like flu, news spreads best when it’s virally shared. We have the hosts to do that sharing bit in the form of FriendFeed, Facebook and Twitter and the real time-ness is the latest virus, rampant in the dynamics of the search engines. Microsoft is all set to put this to sharing bit to test with its new feature Bing and Ping and is putting it out limited testing. This means when you search for a keyword, you will also see links to share the results via email or on Facebook or Twitter. Sounds good enough, given that many a times one comes across something worth sharing in search results, Bing is making news one way or the other as always and I appreciate Microsoft for trying out these things at last.
