The Internet Explorer 8 has made it out of beta testing and is available for now as the Release Candidate 1. Though not the full release, it’s ready enough to be loaded and tested by users/reviewers (not as yet). Reports are it’s got enough cream to help Microsoft stay in the lead in the browser market that has seen the likes of Firefox climb higher on percentage share lately. The IE8 has tweaked up Web Slices that enables monitoring of web services, updating you even if you aren’t on that page. It includes various other features that protect your system from attacks (phishing, etc). But the most important feature is the Compatibility View that would show older website designed for previous versions to be seen without any flaws.
