Remeber Ray Ozzie and his famous memo for SaaS? Yeah the same one one mentioning how Microsoft is going to turn towards delivering software as a a service of which Azure was an outcome last October. Well today we see another significant development in terms of SaaS into Microsoft veteran product, Microsoft Exchange.

Rajesh Jha, the VP of Development overseeing Microsoft Exchange said that there were currently 3.5 million beta tester for the upcoming Exchange 14, making the service widely being appreciated as compared similar to Exchaneg 2007 which had only 5000 beta testers at the same time.

That’s a 70,000% increase in beta testers, mostly coming from the Lotus Notes side, stating that it wasn’t up to the mark in the present era of handling issues as exchange did.
