With Microsoft giving an upgrade to Hotmail by cautiously releasing its new version for the Windows Live Hotmail, there are reports already of users encountering problems with it. Users have also asked Microsoft to turn back to the old design, but I think its more with getting used to the new layout rather than the core problems it may very well have.

The new version offers a much larger storage limit, a capacity that’s set to increase 500 MB every months once the user hits the maximum of 5GB that’s initially provided. Plus it’s much simpler to user and faster.

Like Facebook, Microsoft is slow with the final roll out and it has options for users to select either of the two interfaces; the old or the new. The new layout is set to improve speeds up to 70% and if that is so, it will definitely remove the Hotmail takes ages to load, situation. The new version will definitely allow Microsoft to add more features and functions with time and make the Hotmail a better experience for users.
