The new ad for Microsoft’s, People ready initiative aimed to enable organizations to be more dynamic using their human resource and infrastructure more effectively is out, dubbed as “Because it’s everybody’s business”, clearly highlights big bosses of many companies towards saving and cutting costs via using effective IT strategies for survival in this “Economic Tsunami”.

We think software can provide one of the biggest competitive advantages, and that’s especially critical now when a lot of companies are struggling just to keep the lights on, Microsoft’s view is that business leaders who maintain a long-term perspective–even as they take short-term steps to adjust to the current economic realities–have the chance to emerge from a downturn in a better position than they were in before, said GM Troberman.

Is Microsoft correct to claim that it is a rescue organization from this Economic Tsunami? How far do you agree to Steve and Co?
