Meredith Corporation buys Real Girls Media network stake

Meredith-RGMSan Francisco, California based Real Girls Media Network, the online publisher , has raised investment in the second round of funding from Meredith Corporation the magazine publisher. According to the deal, the traffic of Real Girls Media network will be included to the sites of Meredith network which will increase the monthly unique visitor of later to 15 million users per month. This will improve the position of Meredith as it will be placed among the top five women networks. The terms of the deal remains classified.

According to the president of Meredith Publishing Group, Jack Griffin:

Meredith is already one of the leading online providers of information for women on the topics that matter most to them and their families.

This new alignment with Real Girls Media — combined with our upcoming launch of Mixing Bowl, a social community built around meals and meal-planning — further deepens our ability to serve consumers online. For our marketing partners, it means a tremendous opportunity to connect with the most engaged female audiences at the greatest scale.
