Shoaib Hashmi

Meebo_LogoMeebo, the Instant Message aggregator has made partnership with eleven more partners for their network which is still under development. The new partners include IBeatYou, OrangeShark, PerfSpot, UGAME.net, Yaari, Zinch, Zorpia, Bleacher Report, Dhingana, Fanpop and GlobalGrind. With this partnership the user base of Meebo has reached more than 70 million users.

The newly inducted partners will be using the Meebo Community IM in order to provide instant messaging feature and also let the site members communicate live and get the notifications in a real time. The Meebo Community IM will connect to other popular networks including AIM, MSN, Google Talk and Yahoo.

Furthermore the deal will allow Meebo to assist the new partners so that they will be able to monetize synchronous conversations on their sites at an individual (one to one) or group chat.

The first site to be launched on Meebo Community IM will be Flixster. Meebo IM service will be integrated in Flixster so that their users will be able to communicate easily with friends or fellow members. The site will use Meebo API in order to deliver real time notifications.
