Mark Cuban is facing a civil complaint for insider trading in Mamma.com, a search engine owned by Copernic. According to the charges Cuban knew that the company would be issuing additional stock, which prompted Cuban to sell his 600,000 shares before the public announcement and thus avoiding loss of around $750,000. If the charges are proved, Cuban will have to return the money with interest.
