According to ZDNet a source at Google says that the free Picasa Mac OS X version is expected to be launched at the upcoming Macworld Expo 2009. The post point outs that the Picasa for Mac will be released later this year and now its the end of the year so the launch is very much possible. Currently iPhoto is dominating the Mac but with the release of Picasa, things would change for sure.
