LucidMedia, a Reston, VA-based contextual ad targeting startup, has raised $8.8 million in third round of venture funding from Lake Street Capital, RLI Partners, Melton Investments and Redleaf Group. The funding will be used to expand the launch of the companies contextual display ad network and to add to its sales and marketing team. LucidMedia already has a partnership with Yahoo’s Right Media to serve contextually targeted ads on Right Media’s Ad Exchange.
