At times you may find difficulty while searching an online pdf book. pdfSearchEngine has found the solution. It is an online pdf search engine which searches for specific pdf books on different places like sites, forums, message boards, etc.
You can link the page or search a book and download it (not all books are downloadable). There are certain books available on the site divided in three sections, pdf, books and e-books section. It also allows you to add the search engine in your tool bar. The website is powered by Google.
The purpose of specialized search engine is to provide accurate and related results. The results provided by the website are not sufficient in the sense that they don’t return much results. If you search for a book which is not available, it does not display any message saying that its not available. If you search for a book, it return results in a single page where as if you search the same thing in google, it returns you more than million results. The point is, if I can search a book with .pdf extension in Google then why should I come here?
I failed to understand the reason why they have distributed certain books in three sections i.e. pdf, books and e-books (don’t they mean the same thing?). They all return books in pdf format. The website is also overcrowded with Google Ads and the books provided are not up to date which makes it look more like a hoax than a real site. Another problem it has is of language. There is no specific section for books on certain language. Some books available in the book section are in English language while others are in Spanish or other languages. There are certain language options available above the search box which is not functional. The only thing I liked about the site is its simple template.
They can certainly improve by taking certain measures like improving their search and increase the number of results etc. Once they do it, the popularity level will rise.
