A geolocation web app has been released by the YouTube’s development team. The web app incorporates Google Maps, YouTube and geolocation features of Google Gears, in order to show users the nearby uploaded YouTube videos. The idea is fascinating indeed but the app seems to rely on user input rather than going for the actual location. It means that whatever location you write in, the app will consider it to be the actual location. You can download the source code of the application here.
