The company is a specialized technology and media services company. and claims to transform local advertising and Directory Assistance services into a vast, multi-channel information exchange. The Denver-based company withdrew registration for an IPO, stating that it felt there were:
“changed circumstances regarding the securities markets.”
Local Matters Inc. has raised a total of $43.5 million in VC funding since 2002.
