LiveRail, a San Francisco, California based online video ad network, has raised $500k in first round of venture funding led by Pond Venture Partners. LiveRail provides clients targeting, optimization and performance tracking capabilities for their ads on a host of web sites. In addition to this LiveRail is venturing into an oracle role by issuing reports on video advertising, according to which the video ad market would grow by 55% and that Hulu will come out as the leading player in the video market.
