Shoaib Hashmi

BBCBBC has announced that live BBC shows including EastEnders, Heroes and Never Mind The Buzzcocks will be coming online from next week. Also Director of BBC Vision, Jana Bennett, has announced that from 27th of this month, users will be able to see live online programs from BBC One and BBC Two. Both channels will join other BBC online channels which includes BBC Three, BBC Four, CBBC, CBeebies and BBC News. You can watch these channels online at bbc.co.uk using various internet enabled devices or at BBC iPlayer. Programs on BBC iPlayer are available for a week after they were broadcasted on channels. According to Bennett:

From 27 November licence fee payers will be able to watch BBC programmes, live, wherever they are in the UK on their computers, mobile phones and other portable devices.
Through iPlayer and series stacking, they’ll have the option to catch up with them later.

According to BBC’s Vision Multiplatform and Portfolio Controller, Simon Nelson:

Simulcasting BBC One and BBC Two is a huge advance in making our portfolio of multiplatform channels available to our audiences, and giving them the opportunity to discover the wealth of associated content the BBC is able to offer through our channel and programme sites.
