Like.com raised a total of $32 million of financing, being led by Menlo Ventures. the Silicon Valley-based company raised the amount in Series C round of funding that closed in August. Crosslink Capital was also part of the round, as well as being a previous investor, where Menlo’s Prazan Vazirani joins the company’s board of directors.
Like.com is a visual search engine, providing services of matches pictures of things to items for sale, that look similar with each other. The company has progressed at a fast pace, taking an year to reach a $1 million annual run rate, and are over a $20 million revenue run rate now.
The company aims to launch a UK version this week: like.co.uk, and also have an iPhone app called LikeThis, which enables iPhone users to take a picture of an item and receive an email with results of matching items for sale.
