Lenovo appears to be pretty serious about producing the thinnest and lightest systems lately. We talked of the Lenovo A600, but the current news talks of the lightest 16 inch laptop (IdeaPad 650) in the mentioned size. The device weighs a mere 5.6 pounds with thanks to the carbon fiber and is priced at $1200, cheap enough if you are really in a gadget that adds up in performance what it loses in weight.
