Lenovo is making your notebooks more secure with the help of SMS. How? Well the think tank at Lenovo is planning to launch a new security feature named the Constant Secure Remote Disable. The feature would enable users to disable their lost notebooks by sending a text message. Your system would instantly switch off once the text is received and wont respond unless the given password is entered into it. The problem is obvious, if your machine is out of the coverage area, sending an SMS is useless and then your system should have a broadband service enabled. Another thing I would like to know is if the feature will have to installed separately or will the next shipment of Lenovo notebooks have it pre-installed?
