Last.fm has recently updated its iPhone application to enhance the user experience. Though the app at App Store reviews is currently rated at three starts which is quiet low as compare to its competitor Pandora app that has been rated five stars, but the new changes are highly appreciable and will surely help the company to improve its rating.
Below are the list of changes as updated on the Last.fm’s blog:
- VASTLY improved user interface all around (tap to zoom album art included)
- Ability to tag songs
- Personal tag radio
- Calendar based events view
- Common artists when viewing a user profile
- Many other usability and back-end features
Users can now submit new tags or select used tags to a song while the ‘personal tag radio’ allows users to choose from the list of auto-suggest tag stations as soon as they start typing their desired tag. The ‘common artists’ section displays five common artists between you and any other user whereas the ‘calendar view’ is awesome and has traces of the Calendar app interface on the iPhone. The company is strategically working to release its app in as many countries as possible and is currently available in US, UK, Canada, Germany, Spain and France.
