image thumb101 Last.fm takes a Downtime trip after boasts of providing longest Uptime

Pride brings doom, I won’t get into history lessons to prove that to be right rather just talk a bit about Last.fm, claiming to have the longest uptime on Twitter. What happens next? Well it falls flat on its face in less ten days. A mere coincidence or course and there shouldn’t me much complaining as the site had been running without a downtime for more than three years, which is pretty solid given the purpose for which it exists (streaming music). The problem, as stated was caused to due to issues with the data centre which overheated, maybe because off the praise it might have received for providing quality service.
