Lets face it, the environment needs us badly to work on reducing carbon emissions, and what better way to serve the environment then to plant trees and take care of the greens. Often enough within our homes, we have many plants which die due to to our un-given attention, but worry not, Christopher Hawker, the guy behind PowerSquid, has come out with yet another fantastic invention called the Thirsty Light.
It’s basically a little stick you put into your plant. When the light flashes, the plant needs water. The stick costs you $9.99 only. The idea is quite brilliant and simple and I believe that even one step to take care of these plants is a step forward to saving the planet.
I think, that if the stick is made well equipped with advanced features, such as sms or twitter updates to owners or even with temperature reader etc (heck i am not a plant specialist, but my perspectives only), the idea could be a commercial hit in the field of agriculture.
