KickApps teams with Userplane; gets chat and IM services

KickApps_Userplane KickApps a leading on demand social media platform that puts social media and online video sharing functionality into the hands of publishers; allowing every web designer and developer to become a rockstar within social networks. It enables both developers and designers to generate rich media experiences on their sites to pus forward audience growth and interaction.

According to the press release at KickApps, it has announced its partnership with AOL subsidiary, Userplane; a leading communication platform for online communities, to integrate instant messaging and live chat to the platform of KickApps. The partnership would allow KickApps powered sites to engage in live text and audio video conversations with each other.

Under this deal, KickApps has integrated Userplane Webchat and Webmessenger as main features of KickApps’ platform made available on self service basis. This can be activated by selecting the option present in the KickApps Affiliate center. CEO Userplane, Michael Jones added:

The integration of Userplane into the KickApps’ Platform will create new opportunities for growth and revenue for KickApps’ customers, KickApps and Userplane. Working with KickApps we look forward to helping web publishers of all sizes get the most out of their social media sites.

The new features for chat and IM will be made available without any fee and relevant ads will be placed on the chat and IM clients by Userplane.
