New York based social networking provider KickApps has raised over $13 million in the third round of funding. The round was led by undisclosed investor and was participated by earlier investors including Prism VentureWorks, Softbank Capital and Spark Capital. With this round of funding the total amount raised by KickApps has reached $30 million. The company has competitors such as CrowdVine and Ning. A number of companies including AOL, have shown interest in acquiring the company but so far the company keeps on growing on its own.
