WaveM LiveWaveM Live is a new service that lets users get live information and updates anytime and everywhere. It’s specially handy for information addicts who can’t live without updates and access to friends and family no matter where they are. WaveM Live is a real time service through which users can get live updates on their mobile.

The service provides instant communication between your WaveM Live! account and your mobile phone with the content, provided by well known media organizations and publishing houses like BBC news, CITY SHOPPARI, METRO etc.

WaveM Live! uses basic network configuration present on your mobile, hence you can use the service with any mobile operator. The amount of data transfer depends on the data packages you have for yourself. It runs on all smart phones including some cheap phone manufactured a couple of years back.

You can invite your friends and expand your social network. The service will form a social network by tying friends, cultures and content providers.

I think, it would be much better, if they would include more global content channels. It is a good contribution in the field of live mobile communication, but time will tell, whether it will make an impact on the global market or not.

Serial entrepreneurs Paul Houghton, Jorma Korkiakoski and Jussi Vesterinen formulate the founding team. The company is based in Finland and was started in April 2007.
