I wonder how exactly will the already existing online backup services survive the recession when I come across Kabooza, yet another backup service. There is no free account it offers for a trial, just pay in $49.95 a year and you have unlimited storage and 25 GB a month. Download the software and select folders hat need to be backed up and it’s done. It’s currently available for the Windows alone and Mc/linux users have to wait until they release it for them. It recently raised $840,000 from Aggregate Media a Swedish VC firm.

Interesting to see another player join this space. My friends turned me onto http://www.MyOtherDrive.com and I have been happy with them. They offer online backup and file sharing – and they “get” ease-of-use. It will be interesting to see what unique feature or benefit this new player brings to the space.
