I guess changing name wasn’t the only thing running in the mind of CEO Alan Meckler when he renamed JupiterMedia to WebMediaBrands. Meckler announced that he will be cutting short expenses by laying off around 60 employees. The idea is to avoid management duplication that has come to light after integration of its three segments, Internet.com, Mediabistro and Graphics.com.
