When I read Mark Cuban calling Jerry Yang a nice guy, I sort of agreed on a personal note; the guy, no matter how hard he tries to be a kung-fu master fails to be a threat to anyone. Perhaps that’s one reason why the company keeps falling down in value, lack of iron-fisted leadership. And then we have almost 2000 employees counting their last days.
They would definitely be having all sorts of cruel words to define how cruel Jerry is. But wait, is it his fault? Given the crashing reputation of Yahoo as a business, his decisions are largely influenced by pressure from the board members and investors in particular. What made Cuban call Jerry nice was actually the way he had been with Google, which according to Cuban deserves to be dealt the tough way:
