Jeff Levick, Google’s former VP of Industry Development and marketing who joined AOL has been given an extended role by AOL’s CEO, Tim Armstrong. Jeff will now be AOL’s president of Global Advertising Agency. Levick faces an uphill task as AOL appears to be one of the worst hit by the recession as it continues to fall in almost every area. All that remains to be seen as Jeff takes his position at AOL in the coming week or so. Tim Armstrong appeared to be more than hopeful having his former colleague jump into the sinking ship that AOL is to have it sailing again. Best of luck with that.
