Jaspersoft, a San Francisco based developer of open source business intelligence software, has raised $12.5 million in venture funding led by Adams Street Partners. RedHat a leading open source vendor also participated in the round along with return backers Scale Venture Partners, SAP Ventures, DCM, Morgenthaler Ventures, and Partech International.

Jaspersoft previously raised a $12 million round in 2007 and says that their product is the most downloaded business intelligence software in the world with 7 million downloads and 9,000 commercial users.
