iWidgets that automatically embeds applications with social networks bagged $4.1 million in Series A. The round was led by  Opus Capital and joined by University Venture Fund. Along with that it also announced the hiring of Geoff Katz as VP of business development and marketing. In a press release, Peter Yared, CEO iWidgets stated:
