I happened to come across a blog which mentioned that Apple inc. shall be announcing iPhones for Verizon Wireless in 2009. An inside tip reveals that Apple and Verizon will have agreements made out by the end of the year, and launch the iPhone in early 2009.
Apple has been looking for EVDO and CDMA Engineers since a while now, as their online job postings suggest, on various places. Plus Apple needs to grab hold of more than one carrier to reach a wider market. With this said, Apple could also be seen striking a carrier deal with Sprint to further increase its carrier count and strength.

While this is good news for more and more people to have access to the iPhone, could this have something to do with Google’s non-ceremonial release of the Android phone, and does this mean that T-Mobile customers have no hope of ever having a supported iPhone?

T-Mobile is sure to have one soon as well, as mentioned in my blog (clikc on various); check it out.
