iPhone to have SearchMe soon

image194 iPhone to have SearchMe soonThe idea of whizzing past a number of screens at a time has really cut off the burden of scrolling top down and vice versa from our lives. Offering us an alternative to have a quick look at something before we decide whether we want to peak into it or not. SearchMe launched in March (reviewed here)came out with the same aim; it now works on an extension to its existing platform.

Reports have it that SearchMe is now up with its visual search application for the iPhone.

The application has been tailored and ready for the launch but the app remains to be approved by Apple to make it up to the App Store. Erick Schonfeld however got his hands at the app that was demoed to him by John Holland, co-founder of SearchMe.

The idea of flipping across pages, images etc rather than continuously minimizing/maximizing windows sounds like a much anted treat and the iPhone already has this feature with many off its basic features. Plus an added advantage with iPhone is the ease with which one can resize the browsers.

The drawback highlighted however is that it doesn’t let users choke results by hitting on an icon indicating the selected topic. The other down is that you have to flip across pages sequentially. There may very well be a few drawbacks, but what’s better than having a preview of an entire page to help decide whether one wants to end up viewing the whole page or not. Let’s just wait till the app makes it to the App Store and is available for download.
