The market share of Apple’s iPhone has increased three times than last year. iPhone now contains 12.9% of the worldwide smartphone market, which is three times higher than last year’s 3.4% in the same Q3. Currently Nokia is leading the worldwide market with 42.4% market share, followed by Research in Motion (maker of BlackBerry) with15.9% market share. Research in Motion is leading the North American market followed by Apple.
