After bringing the much famed Lighter App for the iPhone, Smule gets into the limelight once again with its new app, Ocarina. The app prized at $0.99 enables users of the iPhone to hear songs that are being played not just in your locality but around the world in real time. This is done by displaying a three dimensional globe and a dots represent those Ocarinas that are active. Your device will automatically play a note randomly and in case you don’t like one there’s always another waiting for the next button to be hit.
The best feature and the one Ocarina has been designed for is its ability to grab sounds around your iPhone’s mic while you hit notes on the Ocarina interface. A pretty clever app and definitely creative, this one’s bound to make it big in the App Store.
