iPhone app: Fake Calls

This new iPhone app helps you get out of unwanted situations: Fake Calls. The app works in a simple way and has only one objective – yes, to mimic an incoming-phone call, so you pretend it’s important to take the call and get out of the situation you’re in, like for example and unwanted meeting. All you need to do is run the app, and it opens a page that looks like the standard iPhone ‘locked’ view, although you can change the background to your preference. Thereby, you would need to set the time when you want the phone to ring, indicating an incoming call. Though the timer option of ringing 10 seconds later after you load the app (settings) could need a bit of work. You can also put a name to your incoming call, adding whether it’s from their mobile, home or work, etc. The app is developed by Sebastian Trujillo and is available in the App Store for $0.99. Trujillo’s company MagicTap.net promises that 10 percent from earnings will go to charity.
