I am so ashamed of myself. I had least possible idea on how to use my dad’s phone when I was 9 (to be true, I barely knew how to turn it on/off) and this kid aged 9 has developed an iPhone app! Lim Ding Wen from Singapore created Doodle Kids, a painting application for the iPhone and it has been downloaded 4,000 times in a fortnight. The app lets you draw with your fingers and had been designed by the kid for his sisters aged 3 and 5. This isn’t the last app he has designed as he is already working on a sci-fi one titled Invader Wars. How did he do that? Lim knows 6 programming languages already and loves reading books on them. I guess I will be reporting many more apps by this young developer in times to come.
